Greetings To Everyone,
Our 32nd Annual Convention in Toledo, Ohio, hosted by Competition Corvette Club was outstanding to say the least. The host club rolled out the Red Carpet as they promised from the early planning stage. They offered something for everyone, the car competition, social functions and activities for the youth. There were activities from the beginning to the end . I would like to take this opportunity to thank the host club, UCCC
Members, family and friends for attending the convention.
The City of Toledo knew we were coming before we arrived, thanks to the host club advertising and the Blues station 95.7 WIMX FM Toledo Ohio Big Daddy Crawfish with Curtis Hopkins and the Disc Jockey Rocky Love. They talked about the United Council of Corvette Clubs coming to town several weeks before our arrival.
Thanks to all for your support. For the ones who were not there, you missed an awesome convention. Remember to plan to attend the Governors’ meeting October 8 -9, 2010 in Waldorf, Maryland. This is the year for our National elections, be there and let your voice be heard and vote for the best candidate to do the best job for our National Corvette Organization.
Let’s work together and strive to make the UCCC the best that it can be. Capital City and Glass Force are planning for the 33rd Annual Convention in Raleigh, North Carolina, July 17 -- 24, 2011, reserve that date now.
Looking forward to seeing you in October.
Evangeline Rickman
UCCC President
